26 March 2024: Enhanced integration with Inspec Analytics for EBSCOhost users

We are pleased to announce enhanced integration in Inspec Analytics for EBSCOhost users, enabling greater connection between the platforms.

Following a collaborative project between the IET and EBSCO, we are happy to share that users will now be able to link between insights in Inspec Analytics and the articles behind them using ‘Show Articles’ links, which will now appear in various places on the platform for users of Inspec Analytics with access via EBSCOhost.

This new functionality will enable users to quickly and easily view relevant records on their organisation’s instance of Inspec on EBSCOhost when accessing Inspec Analytics from a known IP range.

The ‘Show Articles’ link is available on a number of Scientific Concept (controlled term and subject classification) pages including: concept lists; concept pages; and journals and conferences for scientific concepts.

Collaboration is ongoing between EBSCO and the IET’s Inspec team to continue adding additional integrations to further enhance connections between Inspec on EBSCOhost and Inspec Analytics.

This functionality is currently being implemented for a subset of users to monitor effectiveness, and is expected to be deployed to all EBSCOhost customers of Inspec by 1 May 2024.
